If something is given without asking, accept it
Hadith 492
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، نا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَنْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسْأَلَةٍ فَلْيَقْبَلْهُ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ سَاقَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ)).
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever is given something without asking for it and he accepts it, then it is a provision that Allah has sent to him."
