Prohibition of two types of clothing and two types of trade
Hadith 451
أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: ((نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لِبْسَيْنِ، وَعَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ، عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ، وَالَاحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَعَنِ اللَّمْسِ وَالنَّبْذِ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two types of clothing and two types of sales: wrapping a sheet around the body in such a way that it becomes difficult to move the hands and arms, and sitting in a single garment in such a manner that there is a risk of the private parts becoming exposed; and he forbade the sales of Mulamasa and Munabadhah.
