Prohibition of fasting in Arafat for pilgrims
Hadith 424
أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْءَمَةِ , عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ أَنَّهَا أَرْسَلَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَبَنٍ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ فَشَرِبَهُ ".
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with her) that she sent milk to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Arafah while he was delivering the sermon, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) drank it.
