Marriage contract by or for a person in Ihram
Hadith 337
اَخْبَرَنَا الْمَخْزُوْمِیُّ، نَا وُهَیْبٌ، نَا عَبْدُاللّٰهِ بْنُ طَاؤُوْسٍ، عَنْ اَبِیْهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: اَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَکَحَ مَیْمُوْنَةَ، وَهُوَ حَرَامٌ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) while he was in the state of Ihram.
Hadith 338
اَخْبَرَنَا الْمَخْزُوْمِیُّ، نَا وُهَیْبٌ، نَا عَبْدُاللّٰهِ بْنُ طَاؤُوْسٍ، عَنْ اَبِیْهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ اَنَّ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَکَحَ مَیْمُوْنَةَ، وَهُوَ حَرَامٌ اِحْتَجَمَ وَاسْتَعَطَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) while he was in the state of Ihram. (The Prophet, peace be upon him, had cupping done and medicine put in his nose while in the state of Ihram.)
Hadith 339
اَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِیْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِیْ اَبِیْ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ اِسْحَاقَ یُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِاللّٰهِ بْنِ اَبِیْ نُجَیْحٍ وَاَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، اَنَّ مُجَاهِدًا حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، اَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهُوَ حَرَامٌ، یَعْنِی مَیْمُوْنَةَ، وَکَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ، وَسَعِیْدُ بْنُ الْمُسَیَّبِ یُنْکَرَانِ ذٰلِکَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married her, that is, Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the state of Ihram. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Sa'id bin Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) used to deny this.
Hadith 340
اَخْبَرَنَا الثَّقَفِیُّ، نَا اَیُّوْبُ، عَنْ عِکْرَمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ اَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَ مَیْمُوْنَةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ، وَبَنیٰ بِهَا بِسَرَفٍ، وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) while he was in the state of ihram, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) consummated the marriage with her at the place of Sarif when he was not in the state of ihram.
