Lady Umm Ma'qil (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: I intended to perform Umrah in Ramadan, while her husband had given the she-camel in the way of Allah. I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Give it to her, for performing Umrah in Ramadan (in terms of reward and merit) is equal to Hajj."
