Hadith 283
أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُلَائِيُّ، نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: ((لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ، وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ)).
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Wealth is not the abundance of possessions, but true wealth is the richness of the heart.
Hadith 284
أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بُرْقَانَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((لَيْسَ الْغَنَاءُ عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ، وَلَكِنَّ الْغَنَاءَ غِنَى النَّفْسِ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Abundance of wealth and possessions is not richness, but richness of the heart is the real richness."
