Hadith 231
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، نا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِثَلَاثٍ: الْوِتْرُ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ، وَصَلَاةُ الضُّحَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَصَوْمُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: My beloved friend Abul Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me regarding three things: "Witr before sleeping, two rak‘ahs of Duha prayer, and fasting three days every month."
Hadith 232
أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، نا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَهْرَامَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثَةٍ: الْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ، وَرَكْعَتَيِ الضُّحَى، وَصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: My beloved (Prophet) (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me regarding three things: "To perform Witr before sleeping, to offer two units of Duha prayer, and to fast three days every month."
