Statement about reciting tashahhud in prayer
Hadith 195
اَخْبَرَنَا یَحْیَی بْنُ آدَمَ، نَا عَبْدُالرَّحْمٰنِ بْنِ حُمَیْدِ الرَّوَاسِیِّ، نَا اَبُوالزُّبَیْرِ، عَنْ طَاؤُوْسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: کَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَسَلَّمَ یُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ، کَمَا یُعَلِّمُنَا السُّوْرَةَ مِّنَ الْقُرْآنِ.
Syedna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach us the Tashahhud in the same manner as he used to teach us a surah of the Qur'an.
