Hadith 150
Abu Al-Awbar narrated: I was with Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), when a man came to him and said: Have you forbidden people from praying in shoes? He replied: I have not forbidden it, but by the Lord of the Ka'bah! I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) behind Maqam Ibrahim wearing shoes, then he returned while still wearing shoes. A man said: Have you forbidden people from fasting on Friday? He replied: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Do not fast on Friday, for it is a day of Eid, unless you join it with other days." The narrator said: Then he began to narrate the hadith, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting outside while the people (the noble companions, may Allah be pleased with them) were sitting with him, when suddenly a wolf came until it sat in front of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then it began to wag its tail. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This wolf is an envoy of the other wolves, do you give it anything from your wealth?" They all said: No, by Allah! We will not give it anything. Then a man stood up and threw a stone at it, and it went back barking. He said: This is a wolf, and what is a wolf?

Hadith 151
Ziyad al-Harithi narrated: I was with Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), when a man said to him: Have you forbidden people from praying while wearing shoes? So he mentioned the previous hadith with these words: "Then you returned and you were wearing shoes," similar to the previous hadith, and he did not mention the words after that.
