If a person sleeps through prayer time, he should pray when he wakes up
Hadith 145
أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، نا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، نا يَزِيدُ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ كَيْسَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَازِمٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: عَرَّسْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَلَمْ يَسْتَيْقِظْ حَتَّى إِذَا نَاجَزَ الشَّمْسَ فَاسْتَيْقَظْنَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((لِيَأَخُذْ كُلٌّ مِنْكُمْ بِرَأْسِ رَاحِلَتِهِ، عَنْ هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي أَصَابَكُمْ فِيهِ مَا أَصَابَكُمْ)) ، قَالَ: فَتَنَحَّيْنَا، عَنْ ذَلِكَ الْمَكَانِ، ثُمَّ دَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَاءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ بِهِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْغَدَاةِ بَعْدَمَا ارْتَفَعَ النَّهَارُ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We halted during a journey with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for the purpose of resting, and we slept until we felt the heat of the sun, then we woke up. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Each of you should move his mount from this place, for in this place you encountered the issue which you know about." The narrator states: So we moved away from there. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for water and performed ablution, then he and his noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) prayed two rak‘ahs. Then the iqamah was given, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in the Fajr prayer after the sun had risen.
