Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Five things have been given to me which were not given to any prophet before me, and I do not boast about it: I have been sent to the red and the black, whereas the prophets before me were sent specifically to their own people, but I have been sent generally to all people; I have been helped through awe, which precedes me by a month's journey; the entire earth has been made a place of prostration and a means of purification for me; spoils of war have been made lawful for me, which were not lawful for anyone before me; intercession has been given to me, and I have kept it in store for my Ummah, and it will be granted to every person who does not associate anything with Allah."
