Hadith 48
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), "What answer did your Lord give you regarding intercession?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), their being stopped at the gate of Paradise is more significant to me, and my intercession is for the one who bears witness with sincerity that there is no deity except Allah, at a time when his tongue affirms his heart and his heart affirms his tongue."
