Hadith 44
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I was walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a date orchard in Madinah when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu Hurairah! The wealthy will be ruined, except for the one who spends like this, like this, and like this—before him, to his right, and to his left." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) walked for a while and said: "Abu Hurairah! Shall I not tell you of one of the treasures of Paradise?" He said: "«لا حول ولا قوة ولا ملجا من الله الا اليه»" Then he walked for a while and said: "Abu Hurairah! Do you know what Allah’s right over the people is, and what the people’s right over Allah is? Allah’s right over the people is that they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him, and the people’s right over Allah is that when they do that, He will not punish them."
