Hadith 971

Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How is Paradise constructed?" He (peace be upon him) said: "One brick is of gold and one brick is of silver, its mortar is of musk, its soil is saffron, its pebbles are pearls. Whoever enters it will be happy and will not be disappointed, his clothing will not wear out, nor will his youth decline."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
From the mentioned hadith, it is understood that the palaces of Paradise are constructed from bricks of gold and silver, and these will be granted according to ranks. As Sayyiduna Abu Bakr bin Abu Musa (al-Ash‘ari) narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “For the forerunners (sabiqoon) there are two gardens of gold, and for the companions of the right (ashab al-yameen) there are two gardens of silver.” (Al-Nihayah by Ibn Kathir: 346, its chain is authentic) Today, even the wealthiest person in the world cannot construct a single room of such value, let alone a palace. One should strive for the attainment of such a Paradise, and should sacrifice one’s desires for the pleasure of Allah.
