Explanation & Benefits

Benefits: From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that the shade of the trees in Paradise will be very long, and those trees will always be laden with fruits. As Allah the Exalted says: ﴿مُدْهَامَّتَانِ() فَبِاَیِّاٰلَآءِرَبِّکُمَاتُکَذِّبٰنِ﴾ ( Al-Rahman: 64–65).... “(The gardens of Paradise) are dark green and lush. So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny, O jinn and mankind?”
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Tuba is the name of a tree in Paradise; the distance of its shade is one hundred years. And the garments of the people of Paradise will be made from the sheaths of its buds.” (Silsilat al-Sahihah, no. 1985)
Although there will be no sunlight in Paradise, the existence of trees is a great blessing from Allah Dhul-Jalal, which makes the scenery beautiful. From the aforementioned hadith, one can also estimate the vastness of Paradise: if its trees are so large, then how immense must Paradise itself be.
