Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
The "soor" (trumpet) was a kind of bugle, which used to be made from the horn of an animal. The "soor" mentioned in the hadith refers to the trumpet that will be blown at the end of the world. In the Noble Qur'an it is stated:
"And the trumpet will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall down unconscious except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on."
In a hadith, it is mentioned that a Bedouin came to the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and asked: What is the soor (trumpet)? He (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) replied: "The soor is a horn in which it will be blown." (Silsilat al-Sahihah, no. 1580)
From the above hadith, it is understood that when a Muslim is overcome by anxiety and concern regarding the events of the Hereafter, he should recite: ((Hasbunallahu wa ni‘mal wakeel, ‘ala Allahi tawakkalna)).
