Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Allah says: Grandeur is My cloak and honor is My «إزار», so whoever tries to snatch either of them from Me, I will throw him into Hell."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits: From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that one should safeguard oneself from arrogance, because arrogance is an attribute of Allah Dhul-Jalal. And whoever displays arrogance, it is as if he is claiming to share in the attributes of Allah Dhul-Jalal.
Just as "rida’" is the garment that a person wears over the upper part of his body, and "izar" refers to the lower garment which is used as a waist-wrapper. A person does not allow anyone to share in his rida’ and izar, so the rank and status of Allah Dhul-Jalal is exceedingly lofty and exalted. By "dragging" is meant that whoever tries to be characterized by, or claims, the attributes that belong to Allah Dhul-Jalal, the outcome for such people is Hellfire, because even the slightest amount of arrogance is not liked by Allah Dhul-Jalal.
As is mentioned in the hadith, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Whoever has even a mustard seed’s weight of arrogance in his heart will not enter Paradise.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, no. 4173. Its chain is authentic.)
