Narrated with the same chain, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The source/head of disbelief is from the direction of the East."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
The aforementioned hadith establishes the censure of the people of the East. Allamah Abdur Rahman Mubarakpuri rahimahullah writes: In the aforementioned hadith, there is an indication towards the disbelief of the Magians (Majus), because at that time the government of Persia (present-day Iran) and the Arab people who obeyed them were to the east of Madinah Munawwarah. Its inhabitants were extremely strong and tyrannical. Their king tore up the letter of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and these regions have always been a hotbed of tribulations.
