Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits: Before the aforementioned hadith, Imam Bukhari rahimahullah has narrated the statement of Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Sufyan radi Allahu anhuma: ((لَاحَکِیْمَاِلَّاذُوْتَجْرِبَةٍ۔)).... “No one is wise except the one who has experience.” Every human makes mistakes, and at times people may be deceived by someone, but to be deceived again by the same person who deceived you the first time is contrary to the dignity of a believer. To keep getting deceived repeatedly and to think that this is because we are simple and pious people is not a sign of religiosity. As the poet says: A man is made after suffering countless stumbles, Henna brings out its color only after being ground on stone.
