It is narrated with the same chain that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Allah does not look at your appearances nor at your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds."

Benefits: From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that the outcome of deceit and trickery is Hellfire. Although in our society, the person who is sharp and clever is considered to be the one who is outspoken, an expert in lying and falsehood, and who deals with everyone through lies. However, such people are the most despicable in the sight of Allah, the Possessor of Majesty.
In one hadith, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "The believer is simple-hearted, and the evildoer is deceitful and vile." (Adab al-Mufrad by al-Bukhari, no. 418)
