Hadith 708

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ أَبُو الْخَطَّابِ، نا مُوسَى بْنُ ثَرْوَانَ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ قَالَ: ((كَانَ كُمُّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الرُّصْغِ)).
Badeel bin Maisarah Al-Uqaili narrated: The sleeves of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) were up to the wrists.

Benefits:
In the aforementioned hadith, the limit for the length of the sleeve of the shirt is stated. Both "rasgh" and "rasagh" appear as words in the hadith. This refers to the joint between the arm and the palm. Therefore, moderation is the best method, and this is the Prophetic way.
