Benefits of black seed (kalonji)
Hadith 667
أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، نا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ هِلَالَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((فِي الْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا السَّامَ، وَالسَّامُ الْمَوْتُ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "In black seed there is a cure for every disease except as-sam, and as-sam is death."
