Residence and maintenance for a woman after irrevocable divorce
Hadith 628
أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ تَقُولُ: ((طَلَّقَنِي زَوْجِي ثَلَاثًا فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُكْنَى وَلَا نَفَقَةً)).
Sayyida Fatimah bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: My husband gave me three divorces, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not prescribe for me either accommodation or maintenance.
