Residence and maintenance for a woman after irrevocable divorce
Hadith 625
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، نا زَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسٍ أَنَّ ((زَوْجَهَا طَلَّقَهَا ثَلَاثًا، وَإِنَّهَا اعْتَدَّتْ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَمِّهَا ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ)).
Shu'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated: Sayyida Fatima bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her) informed him that her husband gave her three divorces and she spent her waiting period ('iddah) at the house of her paternal cousin, Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him).
