Lady Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by us while we were among the women, and he greeted us with salam. Lady Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) said: We replied to your salam. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of being ungrateful for «منعمين»." Then the narrator mentioned the hadith similar to the previous one, and said: "So you, in anger, swear by Allah and say, 'I have never seen any good from you.'"

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits: From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that a wife should not be ungrateful to her husband. The manner in which she is ungrateful has been clarified by the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) himself in the above-mentioned hadith. In Sahih al-Bukhari, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri (radi Allahu anhu) that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) went to the Eid prayer place on Eid al-Adha or Eid al-Fitr. There, he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) passed by the women and said: “O assembly of women! Give charity, for I have seen that you are the majority of the inhabitants of Hell.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), why is that?” He (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands.” (Bukhari, Book of Menstruation: 304)
