With the same (previous) chain of narration: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When any of you is invited to a meal, he should accept it; then he should either eat or (pray) for the household. If the messenger enters before him, then that is his permission, and if he enters before him, then he should seek permission."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits: From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that if someone is invited to a meal, one should accept it. If one does not feel like eating, then one should go and make supplication (dua) for the host. However, if there is an act of disobedience to Allah, the Possessor of Majesty, taking place at that location, then it is not permissible to go there.
As is mentioned in Sahih Bukhari, Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari radi Allahu anhu was invited by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar radi Allahu anhuma. When he arrived, he saw a curtain hanging on the wall of the house. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar radi Allahu anhuma said: The women compelled us to do this. He (Abu Ayyub) said: This danger may be possible for others, but it was not expected from you. By Allah! I will not eat your food. Thus, he returned.
