Hadith 598

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever turns a servant against his people (master), he is not from among us, and whoever turns a woman against her husband, then he is not from among us."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that inciting a slave against his master and a wife against her husband is forbidden (haram). Because by doing so, misunderstandings will arise between them, the result of which will be discord and corruption. Whereas, the quality of a believer is that he brings about reconciliation among people. “The believing men and believing women are allies of one another; they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong.”

In another place, He says: ﴿اِِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ اِِخْوَةٌ فَاَصْلِحُوْا بَیْنَ اَخَوَیْکُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّکُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ﴾ ().... “All Muslims are brothers, so make peace between your two brothers and fear Allah so that you may receive mercy.”

And likewise, inciting a master against his slave and a husband against his wife is also not permissible; this too is forbidden (haram).
