Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that those houses in which the Book of Allah, the Possessor of Majesty, is not recited are houses devoid of goodness and virtue. Rather, they are like graveyards. As it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: ((Do not make your houses graveyards. Indeed, Satan flees from the house in which Surah al-Baqarah is recited.)) (Muslim, No: 780).... "Do not make your houses like graveyards; indeed, Satan flees from the house in which Surah al-Baqarah is recited."
