Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever receives a wound in the way of Allah, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with its color like the color of blood, while its fragrance will be that of musk."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
It is understood that being wounded in jihad is also a very great virtue. On the Day of Resurrection, just as the martyr will be honored, likewise the one wounded in jihad will also be honored.

Imam Nawawi rahimahullah writes: Whoever is wounded at the hands of rebels or highway robbers, or passes away while establishing enjoining good (amr bil ma'ruf) and forbidding evil (nahi 'an al-munkar), then this person also attains the same virtue. (Sharh Muslim by al-Nawawi: p. 1448, Dar Ibn Hazm edition)

Allamah Ibn Hajar rahimahullah, quoting Imam Nawawi rahimahullah, reports: There is consensus (ijma') on the purity of musk (kasturi); its use on the body and clothes is permissible. Likewise, its trade is also permissible. (Fath al-Bari: 1/345)
