Virtue of spending a morning or evening in the path of Allah
Hadith 519
اُردوEn
وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((وَاللَّهِ لَغَدْوَةٌ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا)).
With the same chain of narration, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "By Allah! Spending a morning or an evening in the way of Allah is better than the world and whatever is in it."

From the mentioned hadith, it is understood that spending a morning or an evening in the path of Allah, the Possessor of Majesty, is better than the world and whatever is in it. The scholars say: This means that if all the treasures of the entire world were to be spent in the path of Allah, the Possessor of Majesty, the reward received for that would be less than the reward for spending even a little time in jihad.
