Example of one who takes back his gift
Hadith 502

قَالَ الْحَجَّاجُ: وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اَلْعَائِدُ فِیْ هِبَتِهٖ، کَالْعَائِدِ فِیْ قَیْئِهٖ.
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who takes back his gift is like the one who licks up his own vomit."
