Hadith 42

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ، نا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ أَبُو بَلْجٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَيْمُونٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَجِدَ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ فَلْيُحِبَّ الْمَرْءَ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ.
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes to taste the sweetness of faith, then when he loves someone, he should love him only for the sake of Allah's pleasure."
