Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, one good deed is written for him; if he does it, then ten good deeds are written for him. And whoever intends to do an evil deed but does not do it, nothing is written against him; and if he does it, then only one evil deed is written."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits: From the mentioned hadith, the affirmation of the grace and generosity of Allah Dhul-Jalal is established, which He will bestow upon the people of faith: that He will grant the reward of one good deed equal to ten good deeds—this is the minimum. Whereas, from other authentic ahadith, it is established that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Allah, the Exalted, writes for a person the reward of ten good deeds for each good deed, up to seven hundred times, or even more than that.” [بخاري ، رقم : 6491 ، مسلم ، رقم : 131]
The statement of Allah, the Exalted, is: «مَنجَاءَبِالْحَسَنَةِفَلَهُعَشْرُأَمْثَالِهَا ۖ وَمَنجَاءَبِالسَّيِّئَةِفَلَايُجْزَىٰإِلَّامِثْلَهَاوَهُمْلَايُظْلَمُونَ»[6-الأنعام:160] “Whoever does a good deed will receive ten times as much, and whoever does an evil deed will be recompensed only with its like, and they will not be wronged.”
