Eating or drinking forgetfully does not break the fast
Hadith 398
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ شَرِبَ نَاسِيًا فِي صَوْمِهِ، فَلْيُمْضِ صَوْمَهُ، فَإِنَّمَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللَّهُ وَسَقَاهُ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "When any of you eats or drinks forgetfully while fasting, he should not break his fast but complete it, for it is Allah who has fed him and given him drink."
