It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted a person in the state of Ihram to wear such a colored garment on which there is neither a mark of saffron nor is its color faded.

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that colored garments are permissible, provided that there are no traces of saffron on them. However, wearing white clothing is superior. As narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah radi Allahu anhu, the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Wear white garments, for they are the best and most beloved, and shroud your dead in them as well." (Sunan al-Nasa'i, Book of Adornment, Chapter: The Command to Wear White Garments)
