اَخْبَرَنَا وَکِیْعٌ، نَا سُفْیَانُ،عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ اَبِی الْعَبَّاسِ،عَنْ اَبِی الطُّفَیْلِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: کُنَّا نُسَمِّی زَمْزَمَ شَبَاعَةَ، وَنَزْعَمُ اَنَّهَا نِعْمَ الْعَوْنِ عَلَی الْعَیَالِ.
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: We used to call the water of Zamzam "Shiba'ah" (that which satisfies hunger), and we used to say that it is the best supporter for the family.
