Hadith 381

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Abu Talib used to send his children and would send Muhammad (peace be upon him) with them when he was young. They used to bring stones for him, and Muhammad (peace be upon him) had a small cloak with white and black stripes, which he would place on his neck. He picked up two small stones (both stones fell from him), and he fainted. When he regained consciousness, he tied his cloak. His cousins said to him: "What happened to you?" He replied: "I have been forbidden from being naked."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
It is narrated in Sahih Bukhari from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah radi Allahu anhu: (In the era of ignorance) when the Ka‘bah was being rebuilt, the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and Sayyiduna Abbas radi Allahu anhu were also carrying stones. Sayyiduna Abbas radi Allahu anhu said to the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, “Remove your lower garment and place it on your shoulder (so that carrying the stones does not cause you discomfort).” The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did so, but as soon as he became uncovered, he fell unconscious and collapsed to the ground, and his eyes turned towards the sky.
He began to say: “Give me my lower garment.” Then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam tied it firmly around himself. (Bukhari, no. 1582)
Imam Nawawi rahimahullah says: It is understood from this that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam “was protected and preserved in his very being from vile acts and the immoralities of the Age of Ignorance, even from childhood.” He was safeguarded from evil habits and traits that were prevalent in the era of ignorance. He further states that in one narration: “Indeed, an angel descended and tied his (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) lower garment for him.” (Sharh Muslim by Nawawi: 4/35, Chapter: The Importance of Guarding the Private Parts) ... “An angel descended and tied the izar (lower garment) of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.”
