Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: No (pilgrim) was permitted to spend the night away from Mina (in Makkah), except Sayyiduna Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him), and this permission was granted to him because he used to provide water to the pilgrims.
