Hadith 344

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that a questioner asked him, so he said: I shaved my head before slaughtering the sacrificial animal. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Slaughter (now), there is no harm." He said: I performed Tawaf before Rami. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(Now) perform Rami, there is no harm."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
It is preferable to perform the stoning at Jamrah Aqabah, the sacrifice, shaving (hajamat), and the Tawaf al-Ziyarah on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah in the prescribed order. As is mentioned in Sahih Muslim, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam (after coming from Muzdalifah to Mina) first stoned Jamrah Aqabah, then proceeded towards the camels and sacrificed them. (Nearby) a barber was sitting. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam signaled to him with his hand to shave his head. He shaved the right side of his head. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam distributed the hair among the people sitting nearby. Then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ordered the barber to shave the left side of his head. Then he asked: “Where is Abu Talhah radi Allahu anhu?” (When he presented himself) the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave those hairs to him. (Muslim, Book of Hajj, Chapter: Clarification that the Sunnah on the Day of Sacrifice is to stone, then... etc.)

However, if the order is not maintained, or if the acts are performed out of sequence—for example, if the sacrifice is done first, then the stoning, or the shaving is done before the sacrifice—then this is also permissible.
