Hadith 325

Tawoos (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated: There was a disagreement between Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas and Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding a menstruating woman departing without performing the Farewell Tawaf. Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: She may depart. Sayyiduna Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) said: She may not depart until she performs Tawaf of the House of Allah. So Sayyiduna Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) went to Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and asked her about the issue. She said: She may depart. Sayyiduna Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) came out smiling and was saying, "The ruling is as you (Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both) said: that she may depart."
