Hadith 322

اَخْبَرَنَا سُفْیَانُ: وَقَالَ ابْنُ طَاؤُوْسٍ، عَنْ اَبِیْهِ قَالَ: اُمِرُوْا اَنْ یَّکُوْنَ آخِرُ عَهْدِهِمْ بِالْبَیْتِ، اِلَّا الْمَرَاةَ الْحَائِضَ، فَاِنَّهٗ قَدْ رُخِّصَ لَهَا، اَوْ قَالَ: خُفِّفَ عَنْهَا.
Tawoos (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated that it was commanded that their last moments be spent at the House of Allah (performing Tawaf), except for a menstruating woman, because she has been granted permission or concession.

From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that a menstruating woman has the concession to leave without performing the Farewell Tawaf (Tawaf al-Wada‘).
