Seventy thousand people who will enter Paradise without reckoning
Hadith 28
(حديث مرفوع) أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، نا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ عُكَّاشَةُ بْنُ مُحْصَنٍ : ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ مِنْهُمْ ، فَقَالَ آخَرُ : ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : سَبَقَكَ بِهَا عُكَّاشَةُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seventy thousand from my Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning." Ukasha bin Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with him) requested: Pray to Allah that He makes me among them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Make him among them." Then another person requested: Pray to Allah that He makes me among them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ukasha has preceded you in this."
