Lady Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: We were in the house of Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If two Muslims (husband and wife) have three children who die before reaching the age of puberty, they will be brought and stopped at the gate of Paradise. It will be said to them: Enter Paradise. They will say: How can we enter while our parents have not entered? Then it will be said to them: I do not know, the second or third time, enter Paradise and your parents as well. Thus, this is the statement of Allah the Exalted: The intercession of intercessors will not benefit them."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits: From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that if a Muslim's three minor children pass away, and then the parents exercise patience over this and remain content with the pleasure of Allah, the Lord of Majesty, then Allah Ta'ala will, because of them, also admit the parents into Paradise.
In another hadith, it is narrated that Sayyidah Umm Sulaym radi Allahu anha says: I was present with the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "O Umm Sulaym! Whichever Muslim's three children die, they will take their parents into Paradise, due to Allah's mercy and grace upon them." I asked: And if it is two children (will they also take their parents into Paradise)? He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied: "The same ruling applies for two children." (Adab al-Mufrad, no. 149)
