Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went (towards the Eid ground) on the day of Eid, then he led the prayer, then delivered the sermon, and he thought that the women had not heard it. So after three (days), he went to them, admonished and advised them, and encouraged them to give charity. So the women began to take off their earrings and rings and throw them, and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) began to collect them in his garment.

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits: From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that women should go to the Eid prayer ground. However, it is a condition for women that they go out observing proper covering (hijab). Performing the Eid prayer first and delivering the sermon afterwards is the Sunnah. Separate arrangements for covering (hijab) and loudspeakers should be made for women. If, for some reason, the sound does not reach them, then it is permissible to address them separately with admonition and advice. It is permissible to collect charity and donations for the public treasury (bayt al-mal). A woman may spend from her personal wealth without her husband's permission, and it is also understood that women may wear jewelry on joyful occasions for adornment.
