Hadith 141

Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Wherever the voice of the muezzin reaches, he is forgiven up to that point; every wet and dry thing that hears him bears witness to him, and for the one who offers prayer in congregation after hearing the adhan, there are twenty-five good deeds."

Hadith Takhrij «
Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits:
It is understood that the sins of the muezzin are forgiven up to the extent of his voice. This means that if a person has so many sins in the place where he is giving the call to prayer (adhan), and from that place up to wherever the sound of the adhan reaches—whatever space lies in between—if his sins are so numerous that they fill that space, then by the blessing of giving the adhan, Allah, the Possessor of Majesty, will forgive those sins. Likewise, every hearing thing affirms this. It is mentioned in Sahih Bukhari:

(Bukhari, Kitab al-Adhan, No: 609)

“Because whatever jinn, human, or any other thing hears the muezzin’s voice to its furthest extent, it will bear witness for him on the Day of Resurrection.”

Even the earth will bear witness for this fortunate person. “On that Day, the earth will declare its news.”

In one narration, it is mentioned that (for the muezzin) there is a reward equal to that of those who pray with him (meaning that whoever comes after hearing the adhan, whatever reward they receive for the prayer, the muezzin will also receive a reward equal to each person’s reward) (Sahih Targhib wa Tarhib: 1/214).
