Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abdush Shakoor Tirmidhi
Benefits: From the aforementioned hadith, it is understood that after the cessation of menstruation (hayd), if any discharge comes out from a woman's private part, it will not be considered menstruation (hayd), whether it is turbid or yellowish in color or of any other color. Sayyid Sabiq rahimahullah writes: “In the days of menstruation (hayd), blood that is yellow or muddy in color will be considered menstruation (hayd), but in other days it will not be considered menstruation (hayd).” (Fiqh al-Sunnah) As is established from the above-mentioned hadith, Allamah Shawkani rahimahullah states: The mentioned hadith indicates that after purity (tuhr), if turbid or yellowish fluid comes, it is not menstruation (hayd), but if it comes during the days of menstruation (hayd), then it will be considered menstruation (hayd).
