Hadith 1759
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً فِيهَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ قِبَلَ نَجْدٍ، فَغَنِمُوا إِبِلًا كَثِيرَةً فَكَانَتْ سُهْمَانُهُمُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ بَعِيرًا أَوْ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ بَعِيرًا، ثُمَّ نُفِّلُوا بَعِيرًا بَعِيرًا. أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ قِسْمَةِ الْفَيْءِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent an army towards Najd, in which Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was also present. They received a great number of camels as spoils of war. Each warrior's share was 12 or 11 camels, then one camel each was given to them as a reward.
