Hadith 1748
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ظَاهَرَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ بَيْنَ دُرْعَيْنِ. أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْأُسَارَى وَالْغُلُولِ.
It is narrated from Sa’ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) wore two coats of mail, one over the other, on the day of the Battle of Uhud.
