Hadith 1741
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَوْنٍ، أَنَّ نَافِعًا كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ يُخْبِرُهُ: أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَغَارَ عَلَى بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ وَهُمْ غَارُّونَ فِي نِعَمِهِمْ بِالْمُرَيْسِيعِ، فَقَتَلَ الْمُقَاتِلَةَ وَسَبَى الذُّرِّيَّةَ.
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Awn that Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) wrote to him and informed him that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) informed that when the Prophet ﷺ attacked Banu al-Mustaliq, they were completely unaware, with their animals at the place of Muraysi'. The Prophet ﷺ killed their fighting men and took the women and children captive.
Hadith 1742
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّقَ أَمْوَالَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) burned the properties of Banu Nadir.
Hadith 1743
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّقَ أَمْوَالَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ: لَهَانَ عَلَى سَرَاةِ بَنِي لُؤَيٍّ حَرِيقٌ بِالْبُوَيْرَةِ مُسْتَطِيرُ.
It is narrated from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set fire to the properties of Banu Nadir, so someone said: "To the chiefs of Banu Lu'ayy (Quraysh), the fire that spread all around in the gardens of Buwairah proved to be a trivial incident."
Hadith 1744
أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَطَعَ نَخْلَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَحَرَّقَ وَهِيَ الْبُوَيْرَةُ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) had the date palm trees of Banu Nadir cut down and set on fire, and those (gardens) were in a place called Buwaira.
Hadith 1745
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّقَ أَمْوَالَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ: وَهَانَ عَلَى سَرَاةِ بَنِي لُؤَيٍّ حَرِيقٌ بِالْبُوَيْرَةِ مُسْتَطِيرُ.
It is narrated from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set fire to the properties of Banu Nadir, so someone said: "The fire that spread all around in the gardens of Buwairah proved to be a trivial incident for the chiefs of Banu Lu'ayy (i.e., the leaders of Quraysh)."
Hadith 1746
أَخْبَرَنَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ [ ص: 34 ] ابْنَ شِهَابٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أُغِيرَ صَبَاحًا عَلَى أَهْلِ أُبْنَى وَأُحَرِّقَ. أَخْرَجَ الثَّلَاثَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ قِتَالِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، وَإِلَى آخِرِ السَّادِسِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْأُسَارَى وَالْغُلُولِ.
Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered me to attack the area of "Abna" in the morning and to burn their (equipment and belongings).
