It is narrated from Ibn Jurayj, from Ata’ (may Allah have mercy on him), that he said regarding accepting the testimony of women in matters concerning women: "The testimony of less than four is not permissible in this."

It is narrated from Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "In matters concerning women, the testimony of women, when there is no man with them, is not permissible with less than four just women."

It is narrated from Ibn Abi Mulaykah that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding the testimony of children: "It is not permissible." Ibn Jurayj narrated from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), with these additional words: "Because Allah the Exalted says: 'Those whom you approve of as witnesses.' (__QUR_N__ al-Baqarah: 282)"
